As concerns about the coronavirus outbreak continue, FAF has and will continue to take steps to ensure the safety of our employees while ensuring operations stay steady through this crisis.
The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. During this time, we wanted to update you on how we’re approaching this challenge at FAF.
First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who’s been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. We’re truly inspired by the selfless healthcare workers and first responders around the world who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.
Second, at FAF, as with many companies, we’re focused on the health and safety of our employees, families and communities. Asking all employees to work remotely as much as possible, and wherever possible, while FAF offices remain open. This shift has been relatively smooth and we continue to deliver the highest level of customer service and safety for our employees. We learned that being proactive in our decision making has helped us keep our business open safely and continue to do our part to flatten the curve.
We’re also asking our teams to work with customers through digital channels as much as possible. We’re postponing events and replacing internal in-person meetings with virtual meetings.
Third, even as we deal with this pandemic, our team at FAF remains focused on your success. While all our businesses are in uncharted territory, FAF is equipped to handle challenging moments like this, and our commitment to your success is stronger than ever. Our company was founded on core values – trust, customer success, innovation, our associates and community – these values continue to guide everything we do.
During this time, we are supporting our communities across our state of Rhode Island through philanthropic donations to support local organizations where we live and work. This includes making donations of PPE masks to local health care, first responders, and shelters in our community.
FAF has amazing team members and partners around the world. This crisis is connecting us all like never before. We’re being called upon to be our best selves, with patience, understanding and compassion.
On behalf of all of us at FAF, we’re committed to being your partner in all the challenging days and months ahead. As we go forward, we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
